Benihana POKE TUNA 2At Benihana, we are always working to keep our menu trendy and our flavors fresh with new drinks and food items throughout the year. From Japanese-inspired drinks to poke, our new limited-time food and drink offerings are perfect for our more adventurous guest who is looking to test their palate.

This spring, we added new poke entrées and sides at Benihana. These offerings will  satisfy guests raw fish cravings, but in a new way.  Poke means “to slice or cut crosswise into pieces,” which describes how the fish is cut. Benihana sources the highest quality tuna and salmon and uses the loin of the fish to make poke. The fish loin is not only better quality than other poke meats, it is also more flavorful. We enhance the tastiness of the loin with a sweet soy sauce, thinly sliced onion, avocado, cucumber, seaweed salad and masago for a refreshing, unique Japanese-inspired flavor.

To complement the poke, we also added a variety of new cocktails to the menu.  Our Pineapple Jiu-Jitsu features Bacardi Pineapple Fusion Rum muddled with grilled pineapple and salted caramel syrup. This mixture is then shaken with lemon juice and topped with Bacardi Gran Reserva 8.

We enjoy introducing our guests to premium Japanese spirits. The new Whiskey Ichigo Smash mixes high quality Japanese whiskey with fresh strawberries for a refreshing sweet taste perfect for the warm summer months.
